To be or not to be…

It took some thinking over whether or not to start this blog. I have tried to do something almost, but not exactly, like this before, and I did not keep up with it. But this is a new start, a new try. So this one will work, right? Yeah, I thought you’d say that. But that’s the whole idea anyway, to try it all again, and keep updating this time.

If you could not tell, I tend towards a very verbiose length to say very simple statements. You will find that I am not exactly concise, but I do try to make at least some sense.

So, down to brass tacks. I am, by my own admission and mission, a writer of prose and stories. A fictionist, if you will. I am, by practice, a procrastinator. This pains me, but I am working on it. This blog is my way of making myself write at least something interesting (at least to me) about once per day. I’m not, however, going to make any promises about frequency of the updates. I will try my best to make at least one post a week, but don’t count on it.

This first post is an introduction, more than anything, but I’ll give up some little thing that I wrote a few days back. So, here you go:

“I have not the soul that’s needed

to support the long-held dream,

I heard not the voice they’ve heeded

that told them what to dream.”

There you go. This is the end of my first post, so, until tomorrow (or whenever I get around to the next one), adieu.
